Letter : London, to an unidentified recipient at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, 1805 Mar 9.

ALS in secretarial hand requesting that recipient act as the "advocate" of the Fund and urge the child prodigy actor Master [William Henry West] Betty to act in a benefit performance in support of the Fund. A postscript states that Mr. [Richard B.] Sheridan will certainly support the effort. The letter is signed by the "Master Trustees and Committee" for the Fund, including Thomas Caulfield, Charles Dignum, Thomas King, Francis Waldron, and others.
